MY PROCESS
Art has had a great influence in my own development from basic life lessons to profound insights. This process is what I share with my students in order to allow them the same opportunity:
Images are the expression of my thoughts; they are how I make connections and understand my experiences. The process of creating a work of art refines my ideas and allows me to discover more about myself.
My work often features a figure amidst a stimulus, meant to visually communicate my questions and findings. Much of my work concentrates on digital processes but I enjoy all forms of art making. My inspiration comes from wonderings: science, religion and theology. I find myself drawn to delicate and simple imagery, through which I express complex concepts.
