CLASS

Linear Perspective

  • Students are learning to utilize linear perspective, both one point and two point, to create the illusion of three-dimensional space on a two dimensional surface.

  • Students are exploring the essential components of linear perspective which are a horizon line, vanishing points, receding lines and other core geometric concepts.

  • Students will create their own lego form and draw it in perspective using the learned structure.

HOME

Lego Bricks

Bring in your own unique lego creation (if you have legos) and you may draw it for your project.

If you do not have legos, you will draw one of the lego creations which I provide.

Mrs.
Stembridge

Why art? I'm glad you asked.

My teaching career is an extension of my love for creating.  I provide students with an opportunity to discover themselves through visual exploration and to produce invaluable representations of this process.

I am committed to helping my students succeed by facilitating higher level thinking, lifelong learning and problem solving skills, visual literacy and repsonsible value judgement making.

The goal of teaching art is not to create a class of Michelangelos but to cultivate confident, observant and creative thinkers who will become the innovators of their generation.
